The last issue if Injoy Magazine was the first birthday edition, and this Aug/Sept 09 edition is straddling the end of winter and the beginning of spring: death and birth—two sides of the same coin, so there’s no need to flip out. We are always in a flux of constant change, and when the veil that we project our reality onto seems to fold, or fall, simply trust in what’s happening… and look forward to what you want to happen.
Many gifted people come to settle here in this magnificent region, amazing people with expanded consciousness creatively weaving uplifting webs that support a community-minded existence and the celebration of life... all the while raising the vibration of our collectiveness—our oneness.
Meditation, yoga, ceremony and celebrations overflow throughout this shire, spilling into the every day lives of ordinary people. Some of the greatest conversations that stream though issues of Injoy come from voices echoing the thoughts and passions of ordinary people just doing their thing—together we thread the fabric of our society.
Living here is not always as easy as it looks. Dreams do become realities, but an acceleration of transformation is part of the package. In these times of incredible change I guess Byron is a perfect place to position oneself—rich in community value and laced with unique expressions from individuals who are more than happy to call this extraordinary place ‘home’.
Optimism runs high around here, and in these challenging times our values and belief systems become the determining factor when it comes to manifesting reality. Mainstream media continues to portray the financial, social and environmental climate in an ever-increasing crisis that is leading to a doomed future—a fear-based existence. Alternative media sources advocate that the human consciousness is a powerful tool that can direct and manifest the best through pure intention and positive belief systems... the choice is yours!
Injoy is designed to remind people to feel, to appreciate the simple things that enrich each and every day. One of the greatest treasures of existence, our most precious natural resource is our children... and the soil that nurtures the growth of these seeds of tomorrow is family—and community.
While I am referring to those pint-sized people of such incredible openness and awareness, I am simultaneously considering the child with each and every one of us taller folk. Whether you have preserved your connection to this innocent aspect of your being, or you’ve forgotten through too may ticks of the clock, the truth remains that we all are children, living and learning, growing and forever changing.
So, Injoy in the moments in-between, when you take some time out for that cuppa, pause in the sunshine, ponder before the next thing on your list demands attention. You can read this magazine in one sitting, or stretch it out and return to Injoy again and again... and yes, eventually Injoy Magazine will go online but for now it feels imperative that Injoy remains something you can touch—a tactile expression that can inspire, invoke and inform in those times when you are not on your computer, driving your car, or at the kitchen sink. Injoy the times when you have space to yourself, even for just a moment or two. People say they feel good when they read Injoy, which is simply wonderful. Keep writing, keep advertising, keep Injoy flowing through our magnificent region.
On the wings of a butterfly together we will reweave the patterning of our existence - with love, Bhadrena
