The astrological grand trine of August 1987 known as the Harmonic Convergence heralded the great change that’s undeniably upon us. A time they say that was to lead us out of the consciousness of war, and into that of peace.
Peace itself begins within every individual and can’t be faked. We need only look at our genetic relationships, and various others with family and friends, work mates, even strangers we encounter, to observe the struggle that occurs inside us.
So here we stand in 2010, together surrendering our fears, and control patterns that have been unconsciously running our lives. Gradually and emphatically undoing centuries of tradition worldwide, by reclaiming the truth of our essential inner genius.
Many who belong to the older generation will with grace, take their conditioning to the grave with them and never desire or need for it to be any different.
Of generations since, many came with new dreaming in their hearts about relationship and family or tribe, already awakened. Kinship being key to their orientation so they’re less inclined to exclusivity in their choice to love others.
This in itself raises many questions as to how to be together, and what boundaries if any, do they draw around sharing sensually or sexually. They aim to build community and find ways to live and create together. They consider that all people deserve love and to belong. Yet there are complex issues that come with this requiring resolve.
Among the challenges are the unconscious beliefs and patterning around hierarchy within the principle of equality. And in relation to deep intimate connections there can be fear and avoidance of commitment, and codependence.
Multiple attractions are natural, yet pursuing the urge to merge can trigger pain for all concerned and more karma to rebalance. Exploring the beauty in those around us, while adhering to ideals based on the belief that it should be okay to love and make a lover of more than one person.
Consequently, if that upsets us then we need to forgive and own the reflection in order to transcend the dynamic to live and relate from wholeness. Whilst every path is valid there may be truth and distortion in the playout.
On the other side of what we’ve already described is relationship and creation utopia! This group is minute in comparison to the other two but through each individual’s journey and mastery of self, they are pioneering and paving the way for the graceful transition of all others. Love and unity is shared, and most often lovers are not!
So when the great Mahatma Ghandi proclaimed, “Be the peace you wish to see in the world”, he was seriously onto every soul’s responsibility for it. Do we really have any other choice but to become a peace activist on the inside!
